Wow!Always excited to learn a thing or two about the person’s behind the iconic brands we see today. Love your narrative..short&informative!😊..Packs in the full life history in great content.Thank you.
Always loved the brand. Never knew it had such humble roots. Way to go Henry. Thanks for the beautiful cars.
An excellent summary of two Great Personalities. I am a Huge Fan of Rolls Royce Autos and of course Aero as well. Rolls Royce Olympus engines fitted on the Concorde Super Sonic. 👌
It would be helpful if the narrator could properly pronounce names such as ‘Decauville’ and ‘Bournemouth’. It would also be helpful if facts were first checked: Sir Henry died in 1933, not 1993. Additionally, Rolls-Royce was a marque’, and now it is merely ‘another ‘brand’. BMW does not own Rolls-Royce motor cars, it merely owns the right to use the name, the badge and the mascot, under an agreement with Rolls-Royce PLC, who can terminate that agreement at any time
Like almost all Great Brands >>> Even Rolls Royce started very Humbly! Thank You So Much Rolls Royce for giving the Powerplants to power the RAF Supermarine Spitfires during WWII … May Charles Rolls & Henry Royce be Blessed to a Better World & Realm!
Great history of my all time favorite automobile manufacturer.
I have just been cleaning out a mechanical enginers home shed , my father in law . A great mind and cricketer , well known character in our small town. From building engines at 12 to being the B.M.C. Dodge Chrysler Valiant Leyland Mitsubishi and Suzuki dealer . his hero’s were Don Bradman and Herb Austin . R.I.P. Knuckles Inglis.
The amazing thing is that most of the mega success stories have their roots in deep personal suffering and tragedy
He would roll in his grave if he knew that Germany owns his company.
As a car crazy person I actually feel stupid because I confused the silver ghost as being made by Mercedes 😔 yet if I had the money I would so buy it an keep it for generation to admire an enjoy.
Ok, first thing: Rolls Royce was not invented by a “poor boy.” He was a mature man. You could have said he was a helpless six month old in nappies.
Henry Royce “His life was cut short by his unhealty diet from years ago”. He was only 70. In a time when the average age of death was 54 years old.
THIS is my Dream car, but the Older 1949 Classic Silver Dawn (in light pink 😉) One of our neighbors had an Original Classic 1949 Silver Dawn Rolls Royce in White, with Red leather interior. It was Beautiful. I haven’t seen him in a good while. He was already an older gentleman when I had met him decades ago, but one of the nicest and sweetest man around. I don’t remember his name, but I will Always remember his Puppies name and it was “CLOUD” 🤣🤣🤣 He was a fluffy little white Pomeranian puppy who Always road SHOTGUN in his car 🥰🥰🥰🥰I don’t know which I Loved more, Cloud or the Rolls 🤣🤣🤣 I guess it was a tie 🥳🎉👏🏼🥳🎉👏🏼🥳🎉👏🏼🥳

Love your video! I’m always intrigued by these stories of how ordinary people can achieve success!
Really captivating and interesting story
Great story telling and pacing. Really, your voice was nice and the music selection apt for the topic. It helps extra that ya didn’t antagonize my headache and further

This is a very good video!! Thanks so much some very cool information!!
The RR emblem was in the beginning red, but to my knowledge, it became black when Charles died in respect of his contribution to RR ?
Riveting and inspiring. TY for sharing. I have never seen a Rolls Royce advertisement???
My favorite cars of all time.
Great story
Pity they stopped making them and are now just a paint and trim shop for bmw .☹️
When quality truly meant only the best and nothing less.
I’m Irish and I think it’s an awful pity RollsRoyce is not still British owned, surely there is plenty of rich British entrepreneurs who could have bought the company, it’s a British institution after all.
I own a 1972 RR Silver Shadow I guess made by the original company before it was nationalized, and then sold to Vikers in 1980,
Very informative!!
Too much jumping around. Typically modern ADD presentation. His Ant offered him help. Love Americans – well-meaning clots. Almost every example of the times you SHOW is from the wrong period and hopelessly steers the viewer down the wrong road. Good work! Try and get the pronunciation of Britain correct before you move on to other butchered words, family and place names.
seems like every great brand inventor ddnt go to school.why r we still going there
I’m do something similar too, would love to connect with you to chat 🙂
Great and amazing
The title should continue Using a Mercedes engine.
Amazing Video.
10:10 so Henry died in 1993?? Lol….
It’s 1933 not 1993
Why did we keep seeing Ford Model T factory activities?
1933 not 1993
Haha you too dirty rolls. What a guy!
Unique partnership
Do Honda next please
I need a RR don
Made by BMW 😂😂😂
Unfortunately no longer British because someone decided to sell it off?
What do all of these people have in common???? A benefactor who gave them their start. Not one started with nothing and built their own..they all had someone footing the bill to get them started.
Royce’s got sick in 1993 ?
Prince William, when do the children of Rotherham get a statue. When will you speak for them William.!
Sorry but there is a little discrepancy he died in 1933 not in 1993 ,fascinating story
Henry and Charles turned over in their graves when the German automaker BMW bought their wholesome English company.
