She’s Always a Woman
She can kill with a smile,
she can wound with her eyes
She can ruin your faith with her casual lies
And she only reveals what she wants you to see
She hides like a child,
But she’s always a woman to me
Oh, she never gives out
She never gives in
She just changes her mind
She’ll promise you more
Than the Garden of Eden
Then she’ll carelessly cut out
And laugh while you’re bleedin’
But she’ll bring out the best
And the worst you can be
Blame it all on yourself
Cause she’s alwaus a woman to me
Oh, she never gives out
She never gives in
She just chages her mind
She is frequently kind
And she’s suddenly cruel
She can do as she peases
She’s nobody’s fool
But she can’t be convicted
She’s earned her degree
Blame it all on yourself
Cause she’s always a woman to me

I can’t make you love me
Turn down the bed
Turn down these voices
Inside my head
Tell me no lies
Just hold me close
Don’t patronize
Don’t patronize me
If you don’t
You can’t make your heart feel
Something that it won’t
These final hours
I will lay down my heart
And I feel the power
No, you won’t
And I can’t make you love me
If you don’t
Then I won’t see
The love you do not feel
When you’re holdin’ me
And I’ll do what’s right
Just give me ’til then
To give up this fight
And I will give up this fight
If you don’t
You can’t make your heart feel
Something that it won’t
In these final hours
I will lay down my heart
I feel the power
No, you won’t
And I can’t make you love me
If you don’t
It’s no good for me baby
Without love
I believed in
Baby
Oh, yeah
