What a beautiful soul, such empathy & understanding, even towards her own abusers after such a tough childhood. A lovely person all over with a simple message of equality at the end. I would say she was a fantastic mother.
An inspiring woman she has such amazing strength. Such a sad story but she didn’t allow her past to define her nor does she carry bitterness.
You are a remarkable woman. I’m so sorry you were taken from your foster family and sent to that convent. To think you walked such a distance as a young child when you escaped shows an inner strength most people don’t have. I’m glad you meet good people along the way who were kind to you. I must say you look very well for your age and I hope life is being good to you now. You’re a lovely lady and thank you for sharing your story xx
Beautiful woman with so much wisdom & a big heart. So glad you escaped & found your way and your sister.
What a beautiful soul️ I wish I could give this amazing woman a huge hug. I’m sorry for what you have had to go through at such a young age.
Love listening to her story ️
These catholic magdalena nuns of these laundries are the biggest sinners themselves by torturing these women
Diane you are amazing such a brave beautiful woman also she should get. compensation for what she’s been through
You are an amazing Lady with such a huge heart . I’m glad you have your own beautiful family today ….I am so sorry this happened to you , heartbreaking 🇨🇦
Well done to the travelling people who helped her
Such a brave and lovely woman
Wonderful lady, incredible stories from Irish history, love the folk of Ireland. Honesty and sincerity…
I started learning about this before I had children and it hurt my heart, now having 3 little children my heart hurts even more.
Diane, you are a star. ALL YOUNG WOMEN need to hear about your horrendous experienced so they do not take their own emancipation for granted. Take care Diane. You are terrific.
A film needs to be made about her escape
What an absolute beautiful lady. You still show such positivity and faith even though all the hardship you endured.
wonderful lady. I know how evil those nuns are. I was abused for 5 years.
GOD BLESS YOU DIANE! YOU CHOSE YOUR BATTLES WISELY….
A remarkable woman, you know it’s very sad that because of a few bad apples (which you’ll get in every sector around the world) Everyone is pretty much tarred with the same brush. There are many good members in the clergy, and just like the travellers. It’s very sad that still writing with the left hand is frowned upon, I remember having to have a quiet word with my youngest daughters teachers for trying to force them too to write with their right hand. That was eighteen years ago, I hope it’s different today. x
Thank you for sharing your story
Appreciate Sharing Sending prayers love

And travellers get such a bad rep ,.god bless them for helping her, especially considering they are quite religious, god bless you both. 2 very brave young girls
This sounds like a real good screenplay here
This church is a monster. These poor people.
I understand being left handed. The nuns at school leathered me all the time because I’m left handed. Evil witches.
Those nuns are in hell
