How sad. May the Lord protect the children and may the adults abolish this type of mining, putting in danger so many lives.

Meghalaya do not share its border neither with China nor Myanmmar. the credibility of your story can be sometimes judge by this type of error. Nevertheless it is very eye opening

For all those Schedule Tribes (S.T.s) in Meghalaya and other parts of north eastern 🇮🇳 who complain about racism in their own country, please remember that you have the 6th Schedule of the 🇮🇳n Constitution which means you can do whatever you want on your land without interference from non-native people and that we pay taxes for you because S.T.s from north eastern 🇮🇳 pay 0 tax whatsoever.

We in our USA, had a lot of coal miners, the age of 8-9 years old. They were experienced hands at 12 yrs old.If you do not know that you do not read history
Natalya Kubrakov
This is so sad. I felt so claustrophobic just watching. I wish there was something I could do.
Robin Madfisherman
Perhaps if American children could see this they would appreciate there lives, country and the opportunity from it they receive more. I don’t think they are as fat and lazy as we may think, Just misdirected a bit.
Nazreen Khongrymmai
I never thought that the renowned abc news would come to our state.
ushbag
These kids are still way too cute to be mining. This video made me want to become a millionaire just so that I could buy them all an education and food.

This what the rest of the world experience. We are taking many things for granted.
Robin Madfisherman
American kids would do good to see this, so unfortunate. Were are so blessed in the USA

Very sad thing that coal mining in Meghalaya is pathetic to the extent of using poor young miners as young as at the age of 9 years, their lively hood is being manipulated by Coal Barrons who don’t care about human lives as well the environmental conditions on how the extract coal. They have spoiled lives as well depleted the beautiful landscape even water is undringable and nothing can be done about this issue. When repeatedly the National Green Tribunal {Loopholes in The System} rampant over love of money is the root of all evil as The Bible says!!!

Well, India is a Sub Continent of people of different races, Indians can look Middle Eastern, African, Asian or Central Asian. Most Eastern Indians.look like Asians, Perhaps because Present day India has these boundaries, There were no boundaries between Middle East – India – Central Asia – Tibet since millennia where various races interbred. All these National Boundaries you see was invented a few centuries ago.
