He Was Just a Clown

Page Description

Discover the untold story behind ‘He was just a clown,’ exploring the life, struggles, and legacy of an often overlooked performer who touched many lives.

A clown is someone who makes people laugh, like the guy with the red nose and oversize polka dotted tie. It can also be an insult — a rude buffoon can be called a clown. To clown means to act goofy.

The clowns found at circuses and birthday parties usually wear makeup and big shoes, but funny people in regular clothes are often called clowns, too, as in the class clown who tells jokes in school. Also, someone obnoxious can be called a clown, as in “that clown wrecked my car!” Acting like a clown in any way is clowning. A teacher trying to get the attention of kids who are fooling around might say, “Stop clowning around!”

Darius McCollum is a very unusual man with a most unusual story. He’s a charming and friendly New Yorker whose great expertise is his extraordinary knowledge of the Big Apple’s complicated and chaotic public transport system. Everyone in New York knows Darius but that’s because he also has a problem, and it’s a rather big one. Darius loves trains and buses so much he can’t stop stealing them, sometimes even when they’re full of passengers. Darius’ obsession is proving to be a serious challenge for authorities who don’t seem to know what to do about this gentleman thief and his compulsive behaviour.

I have wrotten to him (here and twitter) to try to add spanish subtitles to this vid, looks like he has some kind of restriction so I can’t add it to his video.

Because of it I uploaded this video. If Jay let me put the subtitles on his own video I’ll delete this one.

I did it cuz I wan’t to show this video to people (and they don’t know english.)

I don’t have interes in win money from the work of others.
I hope I have explained clearly.

======================================================

Espero haberme explicado claramente.

6 ‘You’re Pardoned!’: Trump Frees ‘Apprentice’ Contestant From Prison In Legal Dumpster Fire | MSNBC

19 feb. 2020

President Trump broke news with the surprise announcement he is using his pardon power for eleven convicted individuals, including Rudy Giuliani’s convicted NYPD commissioner Bernard Kerik, former “Apprentice” contestant Rod Blagojevich, and Michael Milken, a billionaire convicted of 98 counts of racketeering and fraud. The pardons come as Trump’s DOJ faces a firestorm over allegedly giving special treatment to Pres. Trump’s convicted aide. In this report, MSNBC Chief Legal Correspondent Ari Melber explains how these new “political and messaging pardons” clearly “favor the rich and famous,” and constitute “a new low for this total breakdown of justice in the pardon process.” Melber implores citizens to take note of Trump’s action, saying it is as “serious as a heart attack” and noting the new pardons demonstrate why people should actually take Trump “literally,” as he openly campaigned and now governs on deploying “the intimidation of the law, of investigation, of jail – into a political weapon against rivals.”
