I’m sure a lot of you know this but the woman who lied about being raped is now in jail for murder. No joke.
Good for Ed Bradley for being so dogged in this case and investigating everything fully, especially when his health was failing. He was a credit to journalism.

On 1/28/18 I watched 30 for 30 and was too pissed to go to sleep. I cannot believe that a DA would act in this manner. Glad he was disbarred, sued and now his life is trashed. One of the police committed suicide in 2014 and the accuser is now in jail for killing her boyfriend. Fate does have a way of punishing those who are truly evil. The mental scars are lifelong I’m sure.
Nifong fits the prototypical narcissist. He did more than 50 interviews on national T.V. for this case.
It should never have gone to trial, Due process was bypassed and the media hung them boys out to dry.
I don’t know who Ed Bradley is, but he has earned my respect.

Sad how Duke’s “Group of 88” (a.k.a., “Gang of 88”) went on to further their careers at Duke, and other universities. A testament of spoiled, narrow-minded people in our Ivory Towers?

Bradley says at 1:50 that the accuser picked anyone of the lacrosse team and it was like shooting fish in the barrel. Truth is, the one picture she did pick was not at the party and wasn”t even in the county that night. Wish the three accused sued CBS as they sued Duke and multiple others AND WON because of the total fraud in this case……The accuser was sadly, not in good mental health.. she is now dead, of course. One police officer who also contrived evidence is dead, having committed suicide when the truth came out. Nifong said they were guilty before any evidence was examined and the news media was very happy to parrot his claims.

It must of killed Bradley to cover this case. He knew the three were innocent but at the same time had to tow the CBS company line that the three were guilty.

The deputy chief of police who handled that case was the main crack and cocaine dealer in that district. He ran a bar where all drug dealers came and made deals enjoying the deputy’s protection from police harassment. Deputy then came down hard on the college kids as his public relations initiative to help out his image.

YES, and women can AND should take responsibility in preventing sexual assualt as well—-do not always blame it on the guy.
the odds are against the stripper because she’s changed her story, her desecriptions of what the accused look like. The other stripper says the police report isn’t accurate of what the woman said. The prosecutor took the case to the media without examining the facts of the case, and is still trying to go ahead with this? Let’s hope that justice is served and this prosecutor and lying stripper get jail time

Yeah, the odds are against the stripper…rape is one of the toughest crimes to prove…very very hard, I hope justice is served in the end too! My hearts goes out to all of them! Note to everyone: Thanks for keeping the comments in here mature!

anyone know where i can watch the entire 60 minutes segment that was shown tonight (sunday october 15 2006)? i missed 60 minutes and would like to watch the ed bradley segment with the duke players and the accuser.
If you’re going to slam Kifong you have to slam the defense attorneys because everytime you look up, they’re in the news making comments. The judge should have issued a gag order long ago.
I go to Duke and know Reade from two classes and also outside of class. He didn’t do it. Nifong might get his bar association in this state revoked for his conduct (he violated at least 3 rules in the bar guidelines) Namely, the worse, he brought the media into the case without them finding it out first.
