‘It’s unrealistic for a black boy to have aspirations of being a lawyer” That’s hurt me deep. Imagine how many Black people’s dreams were killed because of such treatment and racism.
If you are not careful, the media will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppression. (Malcolm X)
This is the man we really should have been taught about in school.
Why don’t schools teach about him? Inspiration to both black and white
The Most misunderstood man in History… Portrayed as the “devil”, and yet he was far from that. He’s very iconic.
“While King is having a dream the rest of us are living in a nightmare.” Malcolm X
He was an admirable and insightful person. It’s a shame public educational history courses omit him or portray him negatively.
“No matter how much respect, no matter how much recognition whites show toward me…as long as that same respect and recognition is not shown toward every one of our people…it doesn’t exist for me.” I love this quote. It demonstrates selflessness and it’s the biblical wisdom of “how you treat the least of these, you treat me” (matt. 25) .
May Allah Have Mercy on You Brother Malcolm X.
i’m 14 & i honestly think malcolm x deserved a day just like martin luther king has.
Malcolm X’s speeches are still as relevant as before..what a legend.
“Sometimes the people with the worst past, create the best future.” ― Umar bin al Khattab
He is a light, still illuminating generations after his passing. Honoured to be able to watch his videos
The part where he said, ” im probably am a dead man already ” was scary, he knew he was gonna die smh RIP MALCOLM X it be ur own people
“The Greatest Man ever born in the land of the Native Americans” My late father said that after meeting Malcolm X in Birmingham England just days before he was assassinated in NewYork
His message was not only for black folks, it was for all non-white. I’m from South America living in the US and his message speaks to me.
It’s a shame Schools never thought us about Malcom X
Malcom X, from the worst of people to the best. May God grant you Jannatul Firdaus brother.
I love how he went from separation of black American to seeing Unification of all human beings in Mecca…
I read his autobiography at age 10. His words ring true to this very day. He was the best of us. Rest In Power brother.
If only the Native Americans had someone like him.
I love how he turned his life around and became a leader. Not many people can do that given the era he was born and circumstances. R.I.P Malcom X your legacy lives on
“Traded in the white sheets for police uniforms.” This is still true all over the world.
His assassination remains so devastating that nobody has emerged to take his place.
I’m so grateful for the life he lived, thank you a legend, r.i.p. Malcolm X
“No matter how much respect and recognition whites show towards me, As far as I am Concerned, As long as that same respect and recognition is not shown towards everyone of our people in this country, It doesn’t exist for me”, A brilliant and remarkable answer. May Allah have mercy on our Brother Malcolm x.
I live in Australia & they don’t teach us about black history, so this video really helped & I wish that they would teach us this in school.
one of the most controversial yet brilliant leaders of American history. sad how he is never mentioned in the history books.
‘Who taught you to hate being what god gave you’, I felt those words into my soul. Malcolm is the best human being I’ve seen in my entire life.
Im so angry about the fact that im only finding him NOW- at 17 years old, I’ve never heard his name and MANY other things correlated to black people- in school. Ever.
He was so self-aware that you could not trick him into anything, So fearless, so brave at a time when racism was at its peak in a country like America. If there ever was going to be a time machine, Malcolm X is among the VERY FEW people I would love to go back in time for.
Does anyone shed some tears while watching this video? I don’t know why I’m not American nor black, but this guy story and what he has done while he was alive and his death made me cry. RIP Malcolm.
I’m glad to see ppl being introduced to Malcolm. Don’t stop here, listen to his speeches… nothing has changed
I remember reading his autobiography as a teenager and it blew me away. Shows the side of America that was never shown in the media, that’s for sure!
His memory will ALWAYS live on.
“If he isn’t ready to clean his house then he shouldn’t have a house” powerful
he was and he is a better muslim than these arab leaders nowadays I appreciate all the likes
This was so touching, thank you so much for teaching me about Malcolm x
“The KKK traded white gowns for police uniforms “
I respect him so much
I was really literally fighting back tears. What a kind gentle and genius brave soul he was, on behalf of his people. His spirit lives in us all who seek EVERLASTING change for a better future for humanity. Rest in peace young prince your words continue to shine the light for our youth today, in 2020. We salut you dearest Malcolm X
Malcom X is one of the greatest men to ever walk this planet.
I was required to read his autobiography when I was attending Howard University. What a remarkable book, and I had to write a paper on his story, which earned me a hard worked for A in that history class. I still have the book 30 plus years later!
“If you don’t stand for something you will fall for anything ” MALCOM X
This man knew in his heart of hearts he was going to die and still kept fighting. He discovered the truth and was willing to die for it. He’s in heaven for sure, or as my muslim brothers and sisters say, Jannah. May god/allah bless you brother.
The integrity of this man is unparalleled. He was too good for this world.
I am absolutely appalled by the fact that We never learned who this man was in school
“In hating Africa, in hating Africans, then we end up hating ourselves”. Baba Malcolm X
Malcolm X, you’re an inspirer for what I strive to be. A man who not only looks after himself, but for those who needs someone to protect them. R.I.P. George Floyd
I feel like he was making so much progression in such a speedy fashion and after his passing we have failed to continue it so we still remain in the same predicament he started with.
He will always be remembered throughout history. Rest easy Malcolm X.
I’d never heard him speaking or sharing his beliefs; what an excellent Man
Rest in peace Malcolm.. This World doesn’t deserve you.. You were a king
Malcolm X was a true Muslim, wise and brave.
He speaks the truth everything he says it’s true
may his soul rest in peace…and may his words and legacy live in the hearts of every afro being forever.
The man who opened my sleeping head, rest in peace brother Malcolm X.
he was so ahead of his time and so sharp & clever with the way he spoke and applied his knowledge for others, RIP MALCOLM X ONE OF THE GREATESTS TO EVER LIVE.
Hate or like him, his boldness as an activist was out of this world when many feared
This video made me cry like a baby 🙁 . May Allah rest his beautiful soul.
Such a strong Black Man with integrity and never compromised! I loved Malcolm.
How passionate he was while lecturing… He must have gone through real hard times.
it’s really hard to accurately describe how great this man is! absolutely intelligent, sincere, fearless, holy, humble … RIP brother Malcolm!
RIP Malcolm. Light is always at the end of the tunnel, yet we have to walk towards it fearlessly.
He was ‘martyred’ and martyrs never die.
A true human being who stood for human rights. My Hero Malcolm X.
In this difficult time of 2020, we all remember him and remember his great words. May Allah grant him heaven
Lol, after watching the Malcolm X movie on Netflix I am now suddenly obsessed with Malcolm X.
man that eulogy was beautiful, rest in peace malcolm x
“People in power have misused it” -Malcolm X
Gangster, preacher, revolutionary, hero.
And he was right wasn’t he, when he said that ‘if you wait for the one in power to end it, then you’ll be waiting a long time’.
Malcolm X is hero for the human race
“There is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab, or of a non-Arab over an Arab, and no superiority of a white person over a black person or of a black person over a white person, except on the basis of personal piety and righteousness.” Prophet Muhammed (ﷺ).
He was so brave. He said the truth no matter what. Respect And so smart!
“If you don’t stand for something, You will fall for everything.” — Malcolm X.
I just came to know Malcolm x about a month ago and since then he has become my ideal. I have read his book which is amazing and gives more insight about this legend. I am very happy that trt world tried to honour this great men
He is a legend, many love and respect for you the real super hero
There are two types humans in us, one who lives for self, others are Malcolm X. R.I.P
I love this man. He’s my inspiration
I was taught Malcolm was a violent radical revolutionist. All he preached was black people had the right to defend themselves same as whites. He wasn’t violent, he basically just said don’t mess with us and we won’t have a problem
Allaah saved his servant and slave by showing him the way, Allaah irrahmoe. I’m a Muslim, Moroccan and a human being and I love this man for his ideology.
this is literally the most objective I’ve ever seen Malcolm’s life told. you always hear Malcolm X’s was racist but you never get the context of what led him to feel those feelings.
Eventually my mother suffered a complete breakdown, and the court orders were finally signed. They took her to the State Mental Hospital at Kalamazoo. My mother remained in the same hospital at Kalamazoo for about 26 years. My last visit, when I knew I would never come to see her again-there-was in 1952. I was twenty-seven. My brother Philbert had told me that on his last visit, she had recognized him somewhat. “In spots” he said. But she didn’t recognize me at all. She stared at me. She didn’t know who I was. Her mind, when I tried to talk, to reach her, was somewhere else. I asked, “Mama, do you know what day it is?” She said, staring, “All the people have gone.” I can’t describe how I felt. The woman who had brought me into the world, and nursed me, and advised me, and chastised me, and loved me, didn’t know me. It was as if I was trying to walk up the side of a hill of feathers.” -Malcolm X, The Autobiography of Malcolm X
Amazing! I consider this man to be one of the most decent and outstanding human beings in American History!
“Today they’ve taken off the white sheets and put on police uniforms” that statement is so true and so powerful
how this STILL relates till now is ridiculous yet beautiful because of how amazing this man was
I have learned about hitler and stalin for 4 years in a row in school, and i never got educated about Malcolm X
Brother Malcolm was fearless and brave. He was very very focused in bringing justice and equality to everyone, not only blacks. He was a threat to the racist government machinery. So the establishment took him out. Malcolm X is a true martyr. RIP brother.
I always see sadness in his eyes. It’s probably because he’d seen enough injustice from his childhood to the day he was killed. “Who taught you to hate being what God gave you”…. Malcolm will not RIP if we stop fighting for justice for all.
never ever heard “malcolm x” in any of my school years…
This week his speech is relatable as it was in his times, police officers are not charged for their crimes and people go to streets to protest… sad circularity of history….
A lot of older people say that schools don’t teach this guy. I just graduated middle school and my school taught us about him and even had a play partially about him even though my school is only 10% black. It’s really nice to know they’re acknowledging him more.
Man I loved this man.
He’s my inspiration and deserves to be respected
May His Gentle Soul Continue To Rest In Perfect Peace.
I never learned about Malcolm X in school and it makes me mad.
Easy, one of the greatest most inspirational human beings that we have ever produced or ever will produce. Hes an icon not just of America of of the entire human race and he will never ever be forgotten. The fools who give him grief will be.
I’m white, period. I respect malcom much more than even mlk jr. He may have not been of my race, but I respect that he never lost sight of who he was or who he was fighting for.
I’ve learned about Malcolm X on my own, but admire him even more after watching Godfather of Harlem. Great man! Disappointed that the nation of Islam deserted him.
I love his smile my goodness I wish had talked to Malcolm X and my people too!
You are still in every black mans heart .RIP MELCOM X
Allah rahmet eylesin. Nur icinde yat büyük adam MalcolmX.
25 years of me researching and writing articles about Malcolm plus listening to him has inspired me greatly. I agree we should teach Malcolm X in our educational institutes more and have holiday on his birthday of the 19th of May every year
What a tribute to Malcolm X by TRT World…..Thanks for honoring one of the greatest people mother earth has ever produced
One Of The Greatest Men To Ever Exist Definitely A Tremendous Loss In Our World. I’m White , And I Approve This Message.
Love him or hate him, he’s fascinating
A legend we lost for nothing
What an amazing man !
It’s sad that i only learned about malcom X when I was at home, school didn’t teach us about him once
I respect this man, if he was still alive I wonder how much he would accomplish.
Great leaders from other countries offered him honorable official positions in their respected governments. Yet he chose to stay in his country, working for the freedom of the black people, speaking the bitter truth without fear and then getting killed in his country. This man was so great. He sure deserves more respect and fame than what he is getting now.
Absolutely love this Man and I wish I had the opportunity meet him. Beautiful Heart.
I never knew of Malcom X childhood…I now understand why he did what he did.
That eulogy
Malcolm x wasn’t lying when he said a hundred years ago the used white sheets now they use police uniforms 4:44
One of the most greatest human being to ever walk on this universe … He was a gift to us
“Eventually my mother suffered a complete breakdown, and the court orders were finally signed. They took her to the State Mental Hospital at Kalamazoo. unapologetic warrior of a man, what a legend!!!
This man is, was and will forever be great. May Allah grand him Jannah Ameen
I’m so sad I never got taught about him growing up. He is such an ICON and absolutely beautiful amazing human being. I’m doing my own research to know about him now thou, It breaks my heart but at the same time makes me very proud proud. He was great leader. Sadly a lot of great leaders get murdered. This world is horrible. They don’t want us to succeed but we won’t give up. Makes me proud to be black
What a beautiful man, both inside and out.
The end part made me go in tears
What a amazing guy, Had to do my own research since It’s not taught at my school. Rest in Power Malcom X.
Malcolm was so for the people that he did not even want recognition for himself if they would not do the same for them all. Such a strong yet unselfish soul!
Rest In Power, Malcolm X. You are truly my inspiration .
Rest in peace Malcom
Rip brother Malcolm we will for ever love and appreciate all u did for us
One of the greatest leaders the world has seen, May Allah reward him ️🇱🇰
“The autobiography of Malcolm X” says while he was in prison, he read and wrote down every word from the dictionary from front to back ,to improve his vocabulary so that he could better explain himself in letters he wrote to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.
Hearing Ozzie Davis do the eulogy for Malcolm always makes me tear up
Every tine I listen to his story, I am inspired and moved beyond words. That is true leadership because even in death, he still lives through his words and teachings. May Allah forgive him and grant him aljanna.
I have been changed by this man inadvertently as I was interested in his story then I got dewled in his struggle and I found out that there is a malcolm x in each time and place and will ever be as long as there are humans and oppression
X was on point. You can’t put x in a box he was definitely a revolutionary figure. His message is still very fresh. He did not wink at racism he went to war against it.
his change from great animosity against whites to fairness and justice among human beings is inspiring.
Man, What a legend
Such exordinary man may Allah grant him jannah
His speech (a message to grassroots) is easily the greatest speech of 20th century. RIP brother Malcolm X رحمة الله عليك
MALCOLM X WAS HIMSELF!!! That’s a freedom that many of us have never even contemplated.
What an amazing documentary on this GREAT man !! Gone but not forgotten
Böyle güzel bir belgeselin TRT tarafından hazırlanmış olması çok gurur verici. It’s has truly made me proud that this astonishing documentary is created by TRT.
12:50 it’s crazy how almost 60 years since his death and this line is still true to this day we still have racism and it’s still the same no one can tell me it’s changed police are still beating and killing blacks and getting away with it we STILL refer to ourselves as blacks or whites WE as a human race are HUMANS all the same and still get judged for what colour skin we have. My name is Bradley I was born white but I do not class my self as white I am a Human-being
That eulogy rings ever more true today
i had cried at the end of this it seemed sad that he’s dead i wish he was still alive today i care about the black american history.Though Malcolm X will be honer by many and was a great leader.
Malcolm X was probably the greatest leader we had in the 20th century. Rest in Peace Brother Malcolm
A real man, he learnt from his mistakes and improved his mind and his spirit. He also had the courage to treat the enemy as they deserved and had no fear to talk a real man!
A great man, one who was prepared to learn from his own errors and was on a humble path of spiritual, intellectual and political growth when he was so very cruelly taken form a world that needed him so very much. He is one person I could listen to speak for hours on end because he had that rare quality of condensing history and ideas into simple truths that resonated in your heart and mind as true I often wonder what his ultimate legacy would have been had the blinded ignorant NOI stooges influenced by their FBI puppet masters had not played their Judas role against him Truth is rare these days. And those who speak it even rarer. This man could and should have gone onto to be the greatest African American political figure of the 20th century but when his ability to reach across divides became apparent it made him just TOO dangerous to be allowed to continue
Why aren’t we taught about this wonderful man in america? I guess it’s because he is a muslim.
Rest in peace brother Malcolm
Internationalize the problem. This man was extremely wise and intelligent. This is happening now.
“Black nationalist” simply isn’t true. He was a black patriot
I only learned about this man through my parents and youtube, but my school never taught me about this.
Just think how good of a lawyer he would have become if he did not live in a harsh reality then.
a bright and complicated young man that was taken too soon before he had time to solidify a legacy of his own ideas. Imagine what could’ve been accomplish if MLK and X was able to continue their partnership
“As long as my people aren’t getting the same treatment and kindness I’m getting from people, it doesn’t count” literally every athlete rn
Rest in power legend.
One of a great person on this planet. God bless you Malcolm X.
X was the bomb… Love this man!
Brother Malcolm, I’m going through all your videos here in the physical, I’m not certain if they fully understand the Nature of your Presence ( Even myself) but I know deep my Heart ️ you’ve Played your role in Society. You’re truly missed but the Words of TRUTH you Spoke will always remain Relevant. You were in the Future my Friend. Sincerely- Brandon
“sometimes we crack only to let the light in”. RIP X
extraordinary is pushing forward and choosing to live for what you believe regardless of the consequences, much respect
How I came to find out about Malcolm X was when I was in the 8th grade my father had this movie and I watched it and afterwards I asked my father who he was and told me about him.
Just as everyone else, we grew up thinking that Malcom X was this fierce almost tyrant-like leader who wanted nothing but his way during the civil rights era. It’s honestly embarrassing how wrong the media and education system has made him out to be… incredible man. Deeply misunderstood but Malcom X never stood down in what he believed in.. freedom.
“I probably am a dead man already.” Did you ever talk to brother Malcolm? Did you ever touch him, or have him smile at you? I wish.
He was a great man may Allah grant him paradise
Even though a teacher told him that it was unrealistic to become a lawyer, he became better. He became a world changer. He is still relevant today.
i got goosebumps just watchin him cause i knew his speech holds power n only the deaf would blindly pass….
He is the reason whom i as a little girl felt so inspired and revolutionary by sticking up to black people and all people who were uppressed as i myself have had a traumatic past.. I am so happy to be able to know this honourable men, and so sad that people like him always get silenced in some way or the other. This is a fight between the rich and poor, the oppressed and the oppressor. This is a life long fight, wich we will never give up on.. Loves from Istanbul ( former immigrant of the netherlands)
Malcolm X Rahimullah, A voice of generation Allah grant him jannatul fridouas
what an incredible man. we need his leadership today for all mankind. he was still evolving, man we’ve lost so many great people for the PEOPLE
Rest in peace great revolutionary
WE NEED A LEADER LIKE HIM TODAY !
Forever Malcolm X !! I love this man!
Look at what’s going on now this is what the greatest MalcomX was talking about they got rid of him because he was nobody’s puppet he spoke his mind loud and clear this man was clever R. I.P Malcom
The autobiography of Malcolm X is a MUST read!!
Never knew he used to be a gangster. Inspirational !
Real hero.. I’ve been living in new York over 10 years now… and when I see some my young black brothers doing things which they shouldn’t it hurts me so much. They just forgot who they’re… we Muslims loves you. Our brothers
