My first attempt at a video so I thought I’d start with something simple but it still took forever! Anyway, this is Wild Horses the Susan Boyle version from her album I Dreamed A Dream. Neither song nor lyrics belong to me and no copyright infringement intended.

Susan Boyle Lyrics

“Wild Horses”

Childhood living it’s easy to do
The things that you wanted
well, I bought them for you
Graceless lady you know who I am
You know I can’t let you just slide through my hands

Wild horses couldn’t drag me away
Wild horses couldn’t drag me away

I watched you suffer a dull aching pain
Now you’ve decided to show me the same
No sweeping exits or offstage lines
Will make me feel bitter or treat you unkind

Wild horses couldn’t drag me away
Wild horses couldn’t drag me away

I know I’ve dreamt you a sin and a lie
And I have my freedom, but I don’t have much time
Fate has been suffered, and tears must be cried
So let’s do some living after we die

Wild horses couldn’t drag me away
Wild horses couldn’t drag me away

Wild Horses
Susan Boyle

Jeugd leven is gemakkelijk te doen
Childhood living it’s easy to do

De dingen die je goed wilde, heb ik voor je gekocht
The things that you wanted well I bought them for you

Genadeloze dame, je weet wie ik ben
Graceless lady, you know who I am

Je weet dat ik je niet zomaar door mijn handen kan laten glijden
You know I can not let you just slide through my hands
Wilde paarden konden me niet wegslepen
Wild horses couldn’t drag me away

Wilde paarden konden me niet wegslepen
Wild horses, couldn’t drag me away
Ik zag je een doffe pijnlijke pijn lijden
I watched you suffer a dull aching pain

Nu heb je besloten me hetzelfde te laten zien
Now you’ve decided to show me the same

Maar geen vegen uitgangen of offstage lijnen
But no sweeping exits or offstage lines

Kan me bitter voelen of je onaardig behandelen
Could make me feel bitter or treat you unkind

Wilde paarden konden me niet wegslepen
Wild horses couldn’t drag me away

Wilde paarden konden me niet wegslepen
Wild horses, couldn’t drag me away

ik weet
I know…
