I’m ashamed to be Irish after seeing this. These families and survivors deserve truth and justice. Utterly shameful for the Irish Government which voted to seal these files fot 30 years. The Catholic Church and Irish State are still working together to cover up their cruel crimes.
The Catholics didn’t want the children to go to Protestant families, even though they didn’t look after the children themselves. The soul of the child was more important than the misery/happiness of the child in this world. Murderers and abusers, all in the name of God.

Ireland is a horribly corrupt country. People are really harsh and closed off, but given how they have been treated in the not-so-distant past it’s no wonder. The government is conservative, so don’t expect support progress.
