Our night vision technology is a huge advantage over opponents and it’s used every single time they can, even if they have to create such conditions themselves. In this case, where we have night vision goggles and our opponents almost certainly don’t (or maybe have only a limited number of them), they would be stupid not to cut out the power to maintain the huge technological advantage.
