Justice versus conscience

It’s not just Ireland, it happened right here in the US in the missionary schools for Native American children. Look up St. Francis Indian School. It’s run by the Sicangu now, but before that, it was Catholic priests and nuns. I won’t go into detail, but you get the idea if you’re watching this.

The horror of it all was the Catholic Church literally snatched these babies away from their mothers whether they were able to care for them or not, and then abused them, they’d have been better off with their mothers.

What is done in the dark will be brought to the Light.

While I also blame the RCC, I also blame the parents. Especially the Father’s of the children. None of this would’ve happened if the Father’s of those babies did their jobs and took care of their children.

I keep trying to talk to my dad to leave the church but he won’t, it’s so sad.. Malnutrition means they starved them!

Reading the comments on here shows how little some people care about what was done to unwed mothers and their babies by Priests and Nuns . I had Nuns at teachers when I was a child until 2nd grade and never suffered any abuse. but that doesn’t mean I defend what some of them did and still do to this day. Punishing young girls and women for having been raped and sent them to a life of Slave labor . I watched the Documentary about the Magdalene Laundries, it makes you sick to the stomach listening to the abuse the Victims had to endure by Nuns and Priests. Nobody ever judges a male for having sex before marriage, but woman always have and always will be judged for doing so. And to punish incest and rape victims for what was done to them is beyond disgusting ,sadly even to this day Victims are being judged and punished and the offenders get away with destroying the lives of young women. I don’t care what Religion or Faith people follow , but nobody should use their Religion as an excuse to do wrong to others. FCOL this is the year 2016 and the Catholic Church still tells women they aren’t supposed to use birth control, unreal!

The suffering that must have gone on back in the day was probably beyond what anyone could imagine now. That’s a lot of babies guys, little angels that never even got buries. Scumbags just threw them in a septic tank omg that is nauseating to think about its worse then throwing them in a bin. The catholic church never surprises me though they are such a bunch of egotistical power hungry monsters. The things that children had to suffer for this organisation is staggering.

I can’t believe how much death and pain the. Catholic Church has brought here. These souls where not trash. My heart goes out to all of them.

Stop cursing please. This is tragic. The pain, heartache of the mother’s of these babies must have, and maybe still is too much for their hearts to bare.  Some of these women may not have know that their babies didn’t survive, and thought their child had been adopted. This may be how they found out their child didn’t actually survive.  I appreciate your outrage at the situation, respect you for it even. Please respect the memories of the children with out desecrating it with cursing. My family comes for Ireland. I know how the irish love.  For our children, we endure great personal pain to ensure our children are taken care of and have all the opportunities they deserve. Even if it rips out our very souls.  Again, Thank you for your outrage, and with your outrage, showing us what a kind and loving soul you are. Please keep it respectable tho. I could be way wrong in my thinking here so plz give your opinions , but in order to respect life don’t you have to be able to love? Were nuns/priests not kind of deprived from love be it physical or mental ? It would have been frowned on would it not to have given each other compliments and emotional support ? A sin you could say? So maternal instincts would have be repressed ?? Possibly? I do not understand why to believe in God and all his wonders ( ) why are they deprived of such simple emotions that are human nature given by God? And I have to say on searching threw literature on many occasions I actually wondered if Jesus was gay and full of guilt , obviously not able to be free in his emotions at that time??
