Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s team solicited Jeffrey Epstein’s help to prepare for allegations of sexual assault from Virginia Guiffre, more than four years after he said he had cut contact with the convicted paedophile.

Following the publication of allegations in January 2015 that Guiffre was forced by Epstein to have sex with Andrew, Epstein wrote to David Stern, a close aide, suggesting that Andrew’s lawyer attack the attorney representing many of Epstein’s victims.

Epstein wrote: “pa [Prince Andrew] attny should point out that Brad Edwards filing the claim partner Scott Rothstein. was sentenced to 50 years in jail , in part for selling fake epstein related cases making similar allegations to the public. sentenced in south florida in the largest fraud in its histry”.

Meanwhile Surrey Police have urged people with information to come forward about claims of human trafficking and sexual assault dating back to 1994 which appeared in the Epstein files.

The force has revealed it became aware of a redacted report alleging non-recent human trafficking and sexual assaults on a minor in Virginia Water between 1994 – 1996.

It follows the US Department of Justice Epstein file release in December 2025.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s dramatic fall from royal life has taken another shocking turn.

Following his reported eviction from Royal Lodge, the 30-room Windsor property he occupied for over two decades, Andrew relocated to Wood Farm Cottage on the Sandringham Estate — owned by King Charles. But according to multiple reports, staff at Sandringham were informed they could refuse to serve him if they felt uncomfortable.

How did it reach this point?

This video breaks down the full timeline of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s downfall, from his long-standing association with Jeffrey Epstein to the disastrous 2019 BBC Newsnight interview that led to his withdrawal from public royal duties. We examine the 2022 civil settlement, the growing scrutiny surrounding his controversial “peppercorn lease” at Royal Lodge, and the unprecedented decision by King Charles in 2025 to strip him of remaining royal titles.

We also cover the January 2026 release of millions of Epstein-related documents by the U.S. Department of Justice, including references that reignited international attention. With Thames Valley Police assessing information and political figures in the United States calling for testimony, pressure has continued to build.

King Charles’s biographer and friend Jonathan Dimbleby tells BBC Newsnight’s Katie Razzall that he “would strongly believe” that the monarch “would very much like” his brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor to testify in the US in relation to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Interview broadcast on Friday 13th February 2026.

When asked whether the King would be feeling “pressure” over the allegations, Dimbleby said: “I think that he will be feeling the pain of this” and be “appalled by the allegations”.

Dimbleby added that Charles would be “sensing the need to give duty of care” to Mountbatten-Windsor, describing Andrew as “a broken, finished man at best”.

Last week, Buckingham Palace said it was ready to support the police as they consider allegations against Mountbatten-Windsor.

Mountbatten-Windsor has consistently and strenuously denied any wrongdoing.
